2 Days in Niagara Falls: Top Photoshoot Spots & Visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake

Niagara Falls is one of the top tourist spots in Canada, but have you ever ventured outside of the falls to see what else is out there?! I’ve lived in Canada my entire life, but only recently discovered these beautiful, photo spots that I’m about to share with you below. Keep reading to learn more!

Accommodation:

If you’re looking to stay at a hotel with an amazing view, then definitely check out Marriott on the Falls! It has a stunning view that overlooks Niagara Falls, and it’s also the perfect opportunity to capture some beautiful photos and videos. I actually discovered this hotel when one of my travel creator friends posted a TikTok/IG reel about it haha (proof that influencer marketing is a real thing)!

Anyways, when I was searching up the rates for this hotel, I learned that the average cost per night is around $400-$500 if you want to stay on a high floor with a view of the falls. This is definitely not the most budget-friendly choice, but if you’re looking for an upgraded travel experience (or you’re a content creator), then I think it could be worth the investment.

For us, we only stayed one night and justified the cost because we were creating content there. This is something I probably wouldn’t have done when I was younger and more money-conscious, but as I become more serious about my work, I realize that I don’t mind paying a bit more for a better-looking location (and experience) if we can create something we love out of it.

Side note: If you want to book this hotel with city views, then it costs around $200-$300 a night. Personally, I don’t think that price is worth it without the view, so I would just look for cheaper options elsewhere & spend the extra cash on either food/activities!

Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens

Opened in 1936, this European-style garden is by far one of the most gorgeous photo spots I’ve ever seen! It’s filled with almost 100 acres of pathways, flowers, mazes, ornamental trees. It’s also a great location for a relaxing walk and enjoy nature!

The botanical garden is open all-year-round and admission is free, but you will have to pay for parking on-site.

Address: 2565 Niagara Pkwy, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 2S7

(Parking rate was $3.00 per hour)

Two Sisters Vineyard

Located around 30 minutes away from Niagara Falls, the Two Sisters Vineyard is a luxurious winery that’s perfect for an epic photoshoot and some intricate wine-tasting and souvenir shopping. We actually discovered this spot when we did a styled wedding shoot nearby. After seeing how beautifully symmetrical this estate was, we decided to create our own content here, and it was definitely worth it! (We also bought some wine to bring home haha).

Address: 240 John St E, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0

Originally, we wanted to check out the White Water Boardwalk back in Niagra Falls too, but we were honestly way too exhausted from the weekend of wedding shoots and content creation. Maybe next time when we have more time, we’ll visit again! Anyways, hope you enjoyed watching the vlog and found this blog post helpful. Have a wonderful week & Happy traveling!
